 | Long Term Care |
 | |
 | Long-term care encompasses a wide variety of services and support to meet the personal care or health needs of people over an extended period of time. These services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work, dietary, and activities. Many people who have long term care stays require assistance with bathing, dressing, using the toilet, transferring to and from the bed or the chair, caring for incontinence and eating. The overall goal is to assist with maximizing the independence of the patient at a time where they are not fully independent.
