Allegan General Hospital is an American Heart Association Authorized Provider of CPR and ECC Courses.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
This course covers adult/child/infant CPR including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask, foreign-body airway obstruction (choking), and automated external defibrillation. The approximate length of course is four hours. Fee: $48.00.
- This course is for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR/AED
This course covers adult/child/infant one-rescuer CPR, AED, adult/child/infant foreign body airway obstruction (choking) and how to manage illness and injuries. Fee: $60.00.
- This course meets State of Michigan First Aid and CPR requirements for daycare providers and teachers.

Babysitting Class
What you need to know and what every parent wants in a safe and responsible babysitter! Designed for 11 to 15 year olds, our Red Cross Babysitting Class will help you:
- Care for children and infants (includes learning CPR)
- Be a good leader and role model.
- Make good decisions and solve problems.
- Keep the children you baby-sit and yourself safe
- Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents.
- Write resumes and interview for jobs.
